The Jefferson Police Department was started in 1885 and provides
safety services for all Jefferson Village Residents. The department
has a staff of five full time officers and up to 20 auxiliary officers.
The
department provides assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents are welcome to call the department for assistance at
any time for any situation.
“We especially want the seniors to know they can call us
any time. No situation is too small,” said Police Chief Steven
Febel.
