The AC&J Scenic Line offers hour-long, 12-mile train rides
June through October, and the first two weeks in December.
Saturday
and Sunday through Labor Day, the train will run at 1 and 3 p.m.

The passenger cards are vintage 1925 or 1926
cars, while the engine is a 1950-Alco diesel. The caboose, which
sometimes
doesn't make the trip, is from 1956.
In December, special train rides with Santa are available.Reservations are required (it sells out early).
Another special
event this

is a Civil War Weekend. Riders will see Union soldiers board the train for
a train ambush
on Confederate soldiers camped at Carson Yard. View the
